A delightful companion to the Sherry Hat, the handsome mitts adopt the same pretty motif and are reversible as well. The mitts, with two sizes, can be made fingerless or in full length. They are knitted in the round from the cuff up, with thumb knitted last.
Pretty combo of classic cables and bobbles makes the ear warmer chic and feminine to wear. The bobbles are easy to make and require no turning or backward knitting. A great project to practice cables and bobbles for the adventurous beginners and an enjoyable quick knit for the more advanced.
Playful integration of daisy stitches and simple twisted ribs makes the Sherry hat a fun quick knit. Use different colors for Sherry and let the motifs translate to dainty blooms, carefree dandelions, spiky seedpods or tropical palm trees. You can easily turn the slouchy hat into a close fit beanie by knitting it shorter or simply wearing it folded for a pretty brim. The decorative backside also makes for a pert reversible hat. Knitted seamlessly in the round from the bottom up, the hat stretches to accommodate most adult heads.
Just finished making the Jordan sleeveless pineapple top with Euroflax Sport in Lavender. I’m always amazed by how fast this top comes together. The Allegoro yarn used for the pattern has been discontinued for a while now, I’m happy to have found a delightful substitute for it.
Wear the Jordan top for the cold weather too, why not? 😀
A versatile layering piece, Patricia is packed with beautiful details: eye-catching lace leaves gracing the three-quarter sleeves; delicate sprinkling of pretty eyelets; and a crochet lace border providing an extra touch of femininity. The shrug is constructed in two separate halves, each knitted sideways from cuff to center back. The two halves are joined together using three-needle bind off. Pattern also includes instructions for a textured rib border as a knit option.
Decorative cables and bobbles, reminiscent of entwining vines with flowering buds, adorn the Amelie cardigan. The cabling of the fronts continues up to embellish the hood, while that of the back climbs up the left to lend an asymmetrical twist. Knitted with a wonderfully soft and light Aran weight yarn, the generously sized cardigan is delightfully comfortable to wear. The body and sleeves of Amelie are worked flat in separate pieces from the bottom up, making the cabling and compound raglan simple to track.
Decorative cable and bobbles, reminiscent of a sprig of entwining vine with flowering buds, adorns the side of the Amelia cowl and hat. With a moderate slouchy silhouette, the sassy hat is a perfect companion for the toasty cowl. The matching set is knitted seamlessly in the round from the bottom up, and can be easily adjusted in circumference and height.
