Inspired by the beautiful Iris flower, Florence is designed to unfurl into alternating bands of floral lace. The asymmetric triangle drapes gracefully around the shoulders or neck, allowing you to wear it as a shawl or scarf. While this new pattern offers two shawl sizes (larger size shown) crocheted in fingering weight yarn, Florence is highly scaleable and can also be made with different yarn weights to suit your needs.

Inspired by the enchanting Wisteria Tunnel at the Kawachi Fuji Garden in Japan, this ethereal lace shawl is brimming with beautiful cascading blossoms. In a shape redolent of a water lily pad, the Wisteria shawl will drape elegantly on your shoulders without requiring a pin. The glass beads, adding a touch of sparkle and weight to the edging, allow the shawl to sway delightfully with your movements. Scaleable in size, this stunning piece looks equally exquisite wrapped around the neck or worn at the hips over jeans, a skirt or a dress.
Finished Size: Size I (II) – 47cm/18½” (61cm/24”) back length, measured flat. Shawl is scaleable.
Today I have accumulated 10000 hearts at Ravelry for my design Jordan, since the 5000 hearts milestone on . This is one of my favourite designs, and I have crocheted another Jordan in early January (with Euroflax Sport to replaced the discontinued Allegoro). Each heart means an additional special encouragement to me as I continue to design. Thank you so much to all of you for your kind support!
Just finished making the Jordan sleeveless pineapple top with Euroflax Sport in Lavender. I’m always amazed by how fast this top comes together. The Allegoro yarn used for the pattern has been discontinued for a while now, I’m happy to have found a delightful substitute for it.
Wear the Jordan top for the cold weather too, why not? 😀
With a shape reminiscent of a water lily pad, Monica will stay put elegantly on the shoulders to wrap you in cozy warmth. It can also be worn around the neck as a statement scarf. The lacy pattern works up quickly from the center out, ending with an eye-catching flower border that lends a romantic flair to this gorgeous piece.
